NYC Day Trip

You know my sweet summer work hours allow me to go on lots of mini adventures this summer. On Friday my sister in law and I took a day trip up to the big city of New York. My main mission for the trip was to see the Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations exhibit at the Met. I missed a field trip to go to a Schiaparelli exhibit back in fashion school days because I locked myself out of my car/ house and I wasn't living close to campus so that sucked. The day in the city included lots of shopping and a stop at some of the best fabric joints. Lots of food and wine. The exhibit at the Met and some lost wandering in the museum. That place is a maze! Plus a detour in Central Park and a gutsy squirrel.

  1. What a fun day! I think it's so cool that your NYC trips are like my SF trips. :)
