36 Books in 2012

Remember my crazy 2012 book goal? Yeah, it's okay because I didn't really remember it either. Just joking, kinda. I was not as avid of a reader as I was in 2011 when I read 40 books, but I did okay. This year I was a sucker for free books, I mean I rarely pay for books thanks to the library but now that I have a Kindle the free book selection is lacking so I got sucked into some dumb books and even romance novels! That the down side of free Kindle books you can't always see the cover that screams - old lady romance novel!!! Anyways, I read/listened to 36 books this year and here they are:

1. Delirium by Lauren Oliver
2. Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick
3. Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick

Now for my 2013 goal.... hmmm.

  1. I've read quite a few of those books you have there. Are you on Goodreads? I am. I've given myself a reading goal this year of 75 books. YIKES!

    1. Whoa! 75! Good luck!!

I am on Goodreads! Find me:

  2. My goal for this year is only 24 (2 per month) - I know that's not a lot - but with how much I work and everything, it's hard to read a lot. I'm definitely hopring to surpass 24 though - by a lot. :)

  3. Tell me what you thought of I am the New Black by Tracy Morgan and An Object of Beauty by Steve Martin :)

    1. I audio booked I am the New Black- I liked it because it was read by Tracy. It was very interesting to hear about his life before the fame.

An Object of Beauty I loved. It's not a comedy which I kinda expected because it's by Steve Martin. I recommend it.

  4. nice! I need to read more! so glad I stumbled upon your blog! new follower!

    happy new year!

  5. The inability to see which books are romance novels is KEY! I've had that problem too & always find it hilarious :)
Loved this wrap up, I think I'll use it for some of my reading list next year.

    1. OMG. Sometimes I'm in the book reading away and the story goes very scandalous, I'm like whoa what am I reading here! Oh well!

  6. I beat you - I read 41 books last year! By the way, #41 was "A Casual Vacancy" by JK Rowling. I think you would enjoy it so let me know if you want to borrow it.
    :) Dawn

    1. Holla! That's awesome you are always a book monster! YES, I want to borrow "A Casual Vacancy". It's on my to read list but the library holds list is soooooooooooo long on it!!!

  7. you HAVE to put Gone Girl on your 2013 list if you haven't already read it. i'm telling ya it's SO good.

    1. That is on my list! Good to know its a good one! Thanks!
