The work has begun on my Sew for Victory dress. The fabric is purchased and I'm working on fitting my muslin. I can't wait to show you guys the finished project!
Oh, this is fun! I just got a sewing machine for Christmas and I'm teaching myself to sew. I'm sticking with simple patterns for now... someday I'll make a dress. I just sewed a clutch bag. It took forever, but I learned a lot and had fun with it. I can't wait to see how your dress comes along.
You're a part of Sew For Victory too? It seems like that's what all the cool kids are doing. Why am I not in it?
ReplyDeleteOh, that's right... because I spend ALL my time making lingerie.
ReplyDeleteYes, you are busy with all of your bras! You can join in next time lady! Or make some 1940s lingerie!
DeleteThe fabric is so pretty! I can't wait to see the final product!

ReplyDeleteAfter I graduated last year I promised myself to devote some of my new "free time" for crafting and sewing!
