Blogging

Dude, blogging is hard.
It's a challenge to put yourself out there for the world when you don't get a whole lot in return sometimes. If you hadn't noticed I was in a blogging slump this month. I just couldn't get motivated. The bad thoughts - "why am I doing this", "really I only have X amount of followers when these people have XXX amount", and the "she looks banging in that dress and I look like an awkward weirdo in all my pictures" came creeping in. I try to stay positive and keep "the B" as a place for my creative outlet no matter who or how many people are reading. I think I've slapped myself back into action. It's not a popularity contest for me because let's face it, I'm super popular and quite fabulous. If that doesn't translate over the internet then I'm sorry and you can just take my word for it! I'm happy to have all of you who do stick around and read B is for Becky. You also are quite fabulous and we can have a party sometime. Call me maybe.

  6. You are awesome on your blog (and, I suspect, in real life). Everyone goes through a blogging slump. I go through one just about every other day. I have ZERO readers. Don't feel bad. I've recently realized that my blog means nothing. It's just something I do to keep myself organized and to have a place to sometimes write my thoughts. Keep it up! Also, don't compare yourself to others. We all do it and it such a waste of energy.
