House Plants

One of Becky's life philosophies.

One can never have too many house plants.

  1. How do you keep your plants alive?!?!?! I try so hard! I have african violets & succulents. I used the right soil (the miracle grow half sand half soil mixture for those plants specifically) and other house plants that use regular soil. I even follow the little tag it comes with (full light/shade, little/lots of water etc.) What am I doing wrong? Your plants are so beautiful!

  2. Your plants are lovely! I wish that I could keep house plants, but one of my dog's favorite snacks is potting soil. She ate every single plant we ever bought, so eventually we just stopped bringing them home.

  3. I totally agree with you, but all my plants die!

  4. Oh man, I used to kill house plants like it was my job! Since I've moved into this house they have magically been staying alive!!! I have one plant that is very sensitive to watering. It droops when it's thirsty and that makes me aware and I will remember to water ALL of my plants. I probably will water once a week/ once a week and a half. Maybe your watering too much?

  5. OMG! I've heard that before! Too funny! Luckily my ladies avoid the plants.

  6. Boooooo! Sad business. Don't fall for those air plants. Everyone told me they are so hard to kill but all of mine have died!
